about

This is the second release of the (West)Berlin Kult Band 'Out To Lunch' this time with guest Enrico Rava on trumpet and fluegelhorn. This band was a cooperative project, the first working band I was involved in with my long-time partner Andreas Willers. Liner Notes were written by Art Lange and the recording took place at the legendary Studio 44. The engineer was owner Max Bollemann.

The album was on the edge of the LP to CD merge. I still have LPs that I can sell. However the CD is close to 65 min long while the LP is a single LP. Please drop me a line if you would like to purchase an LP.

' In all this is a date with so much melody and heart, so much subtle yet piercing joy, it is difficult to leave it sit in its jewel box for too long. Such is its elegance; if you permit it to, it will grace and bless you all the days of your life.' 4 1/2 stars. (Thom Jurek AllMusic.com)

This is a rare recording from the early days that is now available digitally for the first time.
