This CD was the first recording I did with Andreas Willers in NYC in 1990.
The guests were drummer Marvin Smitty Smith and tubist Bob Stewart.
I also introduced heavy woodwind overdubbing including conglomerats of bassclarinets for the first time.
The title track Suite Noire is the most ambitous music suite I recorded up to this point in my career. This CD also includes the first version of my composition Blaues Lied.
